We are always looking for people to help us enable the youth of Des Plaines to participate in Des Plaines Park District programs. We host one major fundraiser a year, Golf in the Dark at Lake Park, and the profits are used to provide youth scholarships. In addition, the Des Plaines Friends of the Parks hosts several other fun activities throughout the year.
